MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) -Horry County police are looking for a man wanted for fraud and obtaining goods under false pretenses.
Police say John Matthew Miller, 27, is accused of buying $13,200 worth of auto parts under a company account after he was fired.
The incident report says officers received the complaint on Sept. 15 from a construction company. The complainant told police the company had an account with an auto parts store for employees to purchase items as needed for the job. The company primarily uses the account to buy inexpensive items like oil and bearings, but detected large amounts of money being spent at various stores in Myrtle Beach, Conway, North Myrtle Beach and Little River.
Miller has two warrants out for obtaining goods under false pretenses more than $10,000, one for obtaining goods under false pretenses $2,000 to $10,000 and one warrant for FTC fraud.
Reports from the Horry County Police Department say Miller is considered an out of state resident, and report his last known address was in Whiteville.
