MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) A man is recovering from stab wounds after an incident in Myrtle Beach early Saturday morning at the Virginian Motel.

According to the police report the stabbing happened around 2:30 a.m. at 1810 S. Ocean Boulevard.

The victim told police he went to the hotel to buy drugs and was stabbed when he didn’t have enough money to pay for them>

The man had stab wounds on his upper lip and lower abdomen and was taken to Grand Strand Medical Center.

The report lists suspects in the case but no arrests as of yet.

Myrtle Beach Police responded to a separate stabbing incident Saturday morning at the Summer Sands.

Lt. Joey Crosby with Myrtle Beach Police said investigators are actively investigating both cases.
