LUMBERTON, NC (WBTW) – Investigators responded to a shooting where one man was killed Tuesday afternoon in Lumberton, according to Robeson County Sheriff Kenneth Sealey.
Deputies were called to the scene of a shooting on Solomon Road just outside of Lumberton where it is reported that two men were exchanging gunfire and one man was killed after being shot, explains Sheriff Sealey.
The second man involved is injured, but officials could not release an update on the man’s condition. Sheriff Sealey reports it is still early in the investigation and more details will be released when possible.
The name of the man killed in the shooting has not been released.
