Police near Savannah say the adult passenger in a crash will face charges for allowing a teen to drive the car.

20-year-old Logan Kennedy will face multiple charges including contributing to the delinquency of a minor, officials said Tuesday.

Investigators say Kennedy allowed a 13-year-old drive a 2006 Cadillac in Eagle Creek Mobile Home Park on Brantley Drive on around 2 Sunday.

According to Hinesville Police Traffic Accident Investigator, Les Patton the male child was driving a 2006 Cadillac on one of the roads in the mobile home park.

Patton said that, according to a witness, the child was driving anywhere between 20 to 30 mph, and without stopping drove straight into a parked vehicle damaging the left rear and continuing on until the car struck a tree.

Kennedy sustained injuries to his legs and had to be transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah.

The boy suffered a bump on his head the size of a golf ball and was transported to Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville, Patton said.

Kennedy is still recovering from a leg injury in Memorial Health in Savannah, according to police.
