Man facing attempted murder charge in Darlington receives bond after turning himself in

DARLINGTON, SC (WBTW) – A man facing an attempted murder charge has been granted bond Sunday evening after a shooting injured someone in Darlington Saturday, according to officials. 

Lt. Kimberly Nelson with the Darlington Police Department says one person was taken to the hospital after officers were called to Bacote St. for reports of a shooting.

Ebony Gardner, 28, turned himself in late Saturday night without incident. He’s been charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Gardner is being held at the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center.  

Sunday evening, Lt. Nelson added that Gardner was granted bond but there is no word on how much it was or if he has been released.
