CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) – Authorities say a man whose tractor had a flat tire was killed when he fell off the machine as he tried to drive it into his garage for repairs.
Charleston County deputies told media outlets that the victim was struck and killed by the left rear tire Sunday afternoon.
Investigators say the tractor was still in gear when his body was discovered about an hour after the incident.
The coroner’s office identified the victim as 52-year-old Thomas Bussey.
