A man was reported dead on a side road along SC 544/Dick Pond Road just east of the US 17 Bypass on Thursday afternoon.
The incident was reported around 2:30 pm near the Fun Warehouse at 2349 Dick Pond Road/SC 544, according to authorities.
The incident apparently happened off the Fun Warehouse property on a side road in between the Fun Warehouse and a camping store.
Horry County Police are on the scene and the Horry County Coroner is traveling to the site.
Police said that the “situation under control, area is safe and secure.”
