CONWAY, SC (WBTW)- Wednesday afternoon James Abdullah Wilson of North Myrtle Beach was convicted in the death of a 20-year-old woman after a two-day trial in Conway.
The victim, Nigeria Shaquail McDonald, was shot and killed in May of 2015 on Racepath Street in the Myrtle Beach section of Horry County.
Wilson was sentenced to 27 years for voluntary manslaughter and five years for possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. The sentences will run concurrently.
