CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – There’s a new scam going around in Horry County from someone claiming to be with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
According to the Horry County Sheriff’s Department Facebook page, a male is calling residents giving the name Officer Eric Foster claiming to be with the IRS.
He is verbally threatening people with acts of violence and stating that you better not be there when he arrives.
The phone number they are currently calling from is 864-642-3178.
This is a scam and if you receive one of these calls please don’t hesitate to call the Sheriff’s Office at 843-915-5450 or the Police Department for your jurisdiction.
