UPDATE:
Police say they found cocaine in the pocket of a man they charged with DUI after a 4-vehicle crash on Highway 17 Bypass.
While being booked into jail, police say Gregory Allen Glover, 45, had a clear plastic baggy with a white powder substance in his back, right pocket. The powder tested positive for cocaine.
Glover was involved in an accident on Highway 17 and 29th Avenue North at about 8 p.m. on Saturday night, according to the Myrtle Beach Police Department report. Four vehicles were involved, police said.
Two victims sustained life-threatening injuries in the accident, according to police, but no information on the victims nor their conditions has been released.
Police said when they arrived on the scene and spoke with Glover, they detected a strong odor of alcohol. Glover asked for his lawyer and refused a field sobriety test, according to the report.

Glover was taken to Conway Medical Center with a warrant for a blood sample. Results have not been released at this time.
Glover was charge with felony DUI with great bodily injury and possession of cocaine. He was released from jail on $55,000 bond.

After responding to a crash on Highway 17 Bypass and 29th Avenue North, Myrtle Beach Police made a DUI arrest.
According to Corporal Thomas Vest with the Myrtle Beach Police Department, officers responded to the crash that occurred just before 8 p.m. Saturday. Four cars were involved in the crash and multiple people were sent to the hospital as a result. At least two of those people suffered severe, possibly life-threatening injuries.
According to a report from Myrtle Beach police, when officers attempted to speak with the driver who was believed to be at fault for the crash the officer detected the smell of alcohol coming from the man. The officer also noted in the report that the man had “glossy red bloodshot eyes.”
When asked to perform a field sobriety test the man refused and said he wanted his lawyer.
The man was arrested for DUI. While being booked at the Myrtle Beach Jail officers found a small bag of what was later confirmed to be cocaine in the man’s pocket.
The report states that the man refused to provide a breath sample or sign any papers and said that he wanted his lawyer.
Warrants were requested for the man to be charged with two counts of felony DUI and possession with intent to distribute cocaine.
