CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – A 34-year-old man is in jail facing charges of criminal sexual conduct with a minor and stealing a car more than two years ago.
Michael Ray Laws, of Worcester, Mass., is accused of sexual misconduct with a minor while living in Conway on Oct. 2, 2016, according to police. He also is charge with grand larceny for stealing a car from Conway on June 3, 2016.
Horry County Police reported the victim was four years old during the incident. The alleged misconduct, which involved Laws exposing himself and asking the victim to touch him, happened daily, according to the incident report.
Laws was booked on Tuesday and remains in the J. Reuben Long Detention Center as of Tuesday afternoon. No bail has been set.
