GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WBTW) – Sheriff’s deputies charged an Andrews man on Wednesday in connection to a shooting at Sampit Park.
Vonte Porell McCray, 24, was charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
The shooting incident happened on March 30. According to a Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office social media post, two people were shot and taken to the hospital.
In a press release, the sheriff’s office says they have a warrant for Vonte Porell McCray in connection to the shooting on a charge of attempted murder.
McCray is being held at Georgetown County Detention Center, pending a bond hearing.
