DARLINGTON, SC (WBTW) – Darlington County deputies were dispatched to a home on Autrey St. in the Darlington area in reference to a stabbing on Sunday.
According to Lt. Robby Kilgo, two victims were transported to an area hospital with extensive injuries. A suspect was taken into custody at the scene and also transported to an area hospital.
Samuel Lee McNeil, 42, of Darlington was released from the hospital Wednesday and has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of possession of a weapon during a violent crime, one count of domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature and one count of kidnapping.
McNeil is currently in custody at the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center and is expected to appear before a Darlington County Magistrate Thursday morning.
