Man charged for voyeurism after “peeping tom” incident at Myrtle Beach Walmart

A man was arrested and charged in connection to a “peeping tom” incident at a Myrtle Beach Walmart. 

29-year-old Delmar Rashad Deflorimonte was arrested on Monday. His charges include voyeruism and violating a place of privacy, according to Myrtle Beach Police Department’s arrest records. No information about Deflorimonte’s bond has been released. 

A police report from the department says police responded to the Walmart at 541 Seaboard Street around 6 p.m. on Monday after receiving a report of a disturbance. The victim told police while using the bathroom, he saw Deflorimonte looking over the stall and trying to crawl into the stall. The victim also says Deflorimonte never said anything and never tried to grab him. 

According to the report, Deflorimonte told police he went to the bathroom “to take a crap” and that he dropped his phone and bent over to pick it up.
