Man charged for vehicle break-ins in Georgetown County’s Litchfield by the Sea community

A man has been charged for several vehicle break-ins in Georgetown County’s Litchfield by the Sea community. 

Rob Ferraro, 22, of Murrells Inlet, was arrested on Wednesday at his home without incident, according to a Facebook post from the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office. Ferraro is charged with six counts of breaking into motor vehicles. 

“In the early morning hours of Friday, Nov. 23, 2018, and Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018, vehicles in the Litchfield by the Sea community of Pawleys Island were illegally entered,” the post says. “Victims awoke to find an assortment of items missing and reported the crimes to the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office.”

Ferraro was booked around 8:10 p.m. on Wednesday, according to Georgetown County Detention Center booking records. He remains in the center as of this posting and bond is set at $5,000.
