MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Police arrested a 33-year-old man in connection to a stabbing on South Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach.
According to an incident report, Myrtle Beach Police were dispatched to the 1800-block of South Ocean Boulevard on May 21 just after 2:30 a.m. Officers say they found one man with a stab wound to his upper lip and lower body when they arrived on scene.
The report states the victim said he went to the hotel with the offender to purchase drugs. He said he was stabbed because he did not have enough money.
Myrtle Beach Police charged Thomas Jordan Hill, 33, of Myrtle Beach, with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Hill remains in custody at J. Reuben Long Detention Center, according to the facility’s booking records.
