A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a shooting in Darlington.
Lt. Robby Kilgo, with the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office, says 33-year-old Maurice Antwon McTillman, of Hartsville, has been charged with one count of attempted murder in connection with the shooting. McTillman appeared in court on Wednesday and received a $25,000 bond.
A press release from the DCSO says the shooting happened around midnight on Saturday. A person was found outside of a residence on Birdsnest Road with a gunshot wound. The person was transported to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
