MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – A man accused of breaking into three businesses on Kings Highway was booked at J Reuben Long Detention Center Sunday.

Theodore Jerry Bolick, 51,  was arrested and charged with three counts of burglary arrest records say.

On Aug. 18, Myrtle Beach police responded to an alarm at the Barrel Bar on Kings Highway.

In the course of the investigation, officers found out that the suspect had cut and removed part of the air conditioning system in the ceiling and removed a ceiling tile from the kitchen to gain access to the bar.  Police say he stole a $6 bottle of liquor and a set of keys and exited out the back door. Security footage was available and the suspect was recognized as having come in to the bar three days before.

Reports name Bolick as the suspect in a Friday burglary at China Chef where a cash box and $30 in coins were taken. The victim told police she believed the suspect accessed the business from the roof after finding holes in the ceiling tiles. Again, the police report says the suspect exited out of the back door.

Another report names Bolick as suspect in a Saturday burglary at Giff’s Liquors where he took out the roof fan and entered the store. A cash drawer was stolen and several bottles of liquor were knocked over and broken.
