Man arrested in connection with 2 Darlington shootings

A man has been arrested in connection with two shootings in Darlington. 

According to Captain Kimberly Nelson, with the Darlington Police Department, Alfred Andre Richardson Samuel, 31, was arrested by the DPD in connection with a shooting that happened at 102 Lamar Highway on December 6. He was arrested for attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, possession of a stolen pistol, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Samuel was also charged in a shooting that happened on December 7 at the intersection of Syracuse St. and West Broad St., Captain Nelson said. He is charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. 

More arrests are pending in connection with both incidents and the incidents remain under investigation.
