A man has been arrested and charged after Myrtle Beach police responded to a shooting incident on Mr. Joe White Avenue early Thursday morning.
Officers responded to 1929 Mr. Joe White Avenue in reference to a shooting incident around 2 a.m., according to an incident report from the Myrtle Beach Police Department. A patrol supervisor and detective were notified and further investigation is needed.
The report lists a suspect as Jerome Lateekie Thompson, 31.
According to J. Reuben Long Detention Center booking records, Thompson was booked on attempted murder and fail to stop for blue light charges around 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Bond for the fail to stop for blue light charge is set at $10,000 and no bond has been set for the attempted murder charge.
