LITTLE RIVER, SC (WBTW) – A man has been arrested after a toddler tested positive for THC.

On March 1 around 10:30 a.m., a Department of Social Services Human Services specialist advised police that a 3-year-old girl had tested positive for THC. The testing reportedly took place at a facility in Conway.

Joshua Smith, 24, of Little River, is listed in the report as a suspect.

According to J. Reuben Long Detention Center booking records, Smith was booked around 8:15 a.m. on Thursday and released around 5:23 p.m. Thursday. His charge is listed as cruelty to children and bond was set at $250.
