LITTLE RIVER, SC (WBTW) – Horry County police officers and SWAT members took a wanted man into custody Tuesday evening, hours after he refused to come out of a residence in Little River.
Horry County police arrested Patrick Devlin, 25, is charged with resisting arrest with a deadly weapon and arson in the first degree.
According to Lt. Raul Denis, officers were trying to locate a man wanted for assault around 11:15 a.m. Tuesday off Waypoint Ridge Road when he ran inside a house. Denis said the man made several suicidal threats. Negotiators were then called to the scene. As of 2 p.m. Tuesday, police said the man was alone inside the home, after a family member exited the house.
There are no reports of any injuries.
