Myrtle Beach Police Officers have arrested a man after they found drugs, guns and open containers of alcohol in a car with four children during a traffic stop, according to police documents. 

The traffic stop happened on Sunday near 1205 North Ocean Blvd. During a search of the car, officers discovered that two of the children, ages 2 and 3, were improperly restrained. The two other children are 10 and 13. Officers also found marijuana, an ecstasy pill, open alcohol containers as well as a handgun.

Officers arrested Curtis Larecco Wilson in connection to the case. He is charged with simple possession of marijuana, driving under a suspended license, alcohol – open container of beer or wine in motor vehicle, felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a schedule IV drug – first offense, and unlawful neglect of a child.

A judge set Wilson’s bond at $14,035, at last check he was still in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
