FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Florence police say the man wanted in reference to a shooting that happened last Tuesday in the 600 Block of Ingram Street has turned himself in.
Kevin Lamont Morris was charged with attempted murder, armed robbery, grand larceny and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
A release from Lt. Mike Brandt with the Florence Police Department says the victim told officers that Morris tried to rob them and shot them twice as they ran away from Morris.
Morris is also accused of stealing the victim’s gold 2001 Nissan Maxima with SC tag 9841JT. Brandt says a short time after Morris’ arrest, investigators recovered the victim’s vehicle near Waverly Avenue in Florence.
