LITTLE RIVER, SC – On Tuesday, July 26, 2016, the main entrance of McLeod Seacoast will be relocated to the rear of the hospital. This change takes place due to the construction of the new inpatient bed tower which will be located at the front of the hospital, facing Highway 9.
“McLeod Seacoast is committed to meeting the healthcare needs of our growing community,” said Jenna Cox, Communications & Public Information Director for McLeod Seacoast. “The construction of the new tower will provide 50 additional hospitals beds that are greatly needed in our area where the population continues to grow.”
Additional parking areas have been added by the new main entrance to provide patients and visitors with convenient access to the new front door of the hospital. Valet services will also be offered at the new entrance.
“The completion of the new Emergency Department in May 2016 was just the first step in our promise to bring quality healthcare to our community. The new inpatient bed tower marks the next phase of this pledge.”-This information is from a press release.
