FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Magnolia Mall in Florence is getting kids pumped with the return of a new school year.
The mall hosted a back to school pep rally Saturday afternoon geared towards young kids and their families.
The party started with a cheer-leading and spirit competition and featured crafts and other entertainment.
Organizers say the pep rally serves as a fun atmosphere to get the kids ready for a new year.
“It’s great to see the kids coming out and buying their back to school clothes and just celebrating their school spirit. We’ve had Darlington High School and Wilson High School come out to cheer for us today and they both did a great job, so we love seeing the kids come out to support their schools,” said Magnolia Mall Marketing Director Mackenzie Webb.
Children who attended also got a chance to win a $250 shopping spree.
