MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Jess Wnuk from the Grand Strand Humane Society joined News13 NOW at 9 a.m. on Thursday to talk about the annual Lunch of Love.
On Friday, Feb. 9, the Mellow Mushroom locations in Florence, Myrtle Beach, Murrells Inlet and North Myrtle Beach will host the Lunch of Love. Each location will offer a special meal with funds to benefit nearby shelters. The Florence location benefits the Darlington Humane Society. The Myrtle Beach location benefits the Grand Strand Humane Society. The Murrells Inlet location will send funds from the lunch to the Coastal Animal Rescue of Murrells Inlet. The North Myrtle Beach location will help the The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach.
Each location offers a slightly different choice of fundraising meals. The Myrtle Beach location on 21st Ave. North offers the following:
$10.00 per person includes your choice of A) 2 slices of tasty pizza(either cheese or pepperoni) B) One slice of either and a side salad C)Turkey and Cheese hoagie with chips D)Ham and Cheese hoagie with chips. All items include a beverage. Eat in or take away.
