A community health and wellness event will be held on Friday, June 12 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Walmart Supercenter in Lumberton. The event, which will take place inside the store, will include immunizations, healthy food samples, healthy eating tips, health awareness information, health insurance and sun safety tips, tours of the Wellness on Wheels (WOW) bus as well as free blood pressure and spinal screenings. Attendees will be asked to register at either main entrances to the store. The event is co-sponsored by Southeastern Health’s Community Health Services, Homegrown Health, Lumberton Pediatric Dentistry, and Walmart. For more information, call (910) 671-5595.
