Lumberton police seek man who set councilman’s tow truck on fire

LUMBERTON, NC (WBTW) – The Lumberton Police Department is asking for help finding the person responsible for setting a car on fire.

Captain Tony Parker says officers were called to the home of Councilman John Robinson on Meadow Road Friday morning around 3:37 a.m.

Parker says an unknown male entered his yard and set fire to a roll back wrecker sitting behind a wooden fence.
