LUMBERTON, N.C. (WBTW) – Lumberton Police are investigating a homicide that happened Wednesday night, but need the public’s assistance in locating a suspect.
According to Captain Terry Parker, officers were called to Turner Terrace apartment complex and found Ryan Smith with gunshot wounds sitting in a vehicle near the corner of Spruce Street and Beech Court.
Capt. Parker said Smith died from injuries sustained from the gunshot wounds at Southeastern Health in Lumberton.
No arrests have been made in this case. Anyone with information on this shooting is asked to call Detective Chuck Leavitt at the Lumberton Police Department (910) 671-3845.
