LUMBERTON, NC (WBTW) The Lumberton Police Department arrested Ryan Dale Hunt in connection with a murder that happened in mid October.
Captain Terry Parker with the Lumberton Police Department said Hunt was charged with a First Degree Murder Warrant for the Death of Cameron Brewington on October 15.
Hunt was taken before the magistrate where he received no bond on the murder charge and $25,000 on a separate assault charge. He is being held in the Robeson County Detention Center.
The 23 year old was taken into custody October 31 after a tip led officers and U.S. Marshall’s to a home in the 600 block of St. James Circle in Lumberton. Hunt was taken into custody without incident.
Captain Parker thanked the U.S. Marshall’s for their help with the investigation.
