LONGS, S.C. (WBTW)- Horry County Police were called to The G-Spot Club off Highway 90 in Longs early Saturday morning for a reported shooting.
Officers say around 4:10am, they received a 911 call about a shooting. When officers arrived they were told a fight that started in the club moved outside and a man started shooting. Police say security guards got involved and that led to a shootout between the man and security.
Police have identified the person involved in that shooting as 22-year-old John Foster of Lumberton. He is charged with Attempted Murder and Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime, in connection with the exchange of gunfire with security officers.
Officers say during the course of their investigation, they learned two people arrived at a local hospital with gunshot wounds. Police found they were shot at the G-Spot Club in a second unrelated shooting.
Detectives are following leads on the identity of the person responsible for the second shooting and hope to make an arrest soon.
