Myrtle Beach, SC (Press Release) – After more than 20 years serving the Myrtle Beach community and surrounding areas, Delaware North Sportservice has lost its lease and will be closing the Myrtle Beach Flea Market.
Following a full review of options, including consideration of alternate locations, the company has decided it can no longer operate and manage the flea market.
“We have enjoyed our time here at Myrtle Beach,” says Sportservice Regional Vice-President Jerry Freed, “we appreciate the opportunity to have worked with our vendors and become part of this community.”
Sportservice is working hard to ensure a smooth transition for the vendors and allow them maximum opportunity to sell their inventory.
Beginning Wednesday, February 11th, the market will be open to the public from 10 am – 5 pm. The extra days are optional and vendors will not be penalized for not opening. The final day of operation with be Saturday, February 28.
In addition, Sportservice has arranged for the vendors to have access to the market for nearly 2 weeks after the closure to clear out their spaces.
