LONGS, SC (WBTW) – A Longs man was shot in the back while attending a wedding reception over the weekend.
According to an Horry County Police report, the incident happened Saturday at a home off Dogwood Road around 8:30 p.m.
A witness told police that during a wedding reception with approximately 75 guests, two men got into an argument which ended with one shooting the other.
The 35-year-old victim was taken to a local hospital and listed in stable condition.
Police say the suspect, Chad D. Williams, 39, of Little River is charged with attempted murder.
