LONGS, SC (WBTW) – Horry County police have arrested a man wanted for attempted murder.
According to a police report from the department, 24-year-old Rodrez Stanley was wanted for attempted murder after going into the back door of a home on St. Johns Circle in Longs and shooting two people. Police say the shooting occurred around 11 p.m. on April 22.
When officers arrived, they found one victim, a 41-year-old man, lying on the floor with a wound to his right buttocks. The second victim was shot in the lower portion of his leg, the report states.
Both victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Stanley was arrested on Friday and his charges include attempted murder, armed robbery, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Stanley remains in the J. Reuben Long Detention Center. No bail has been set.
