MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) — October is typically associated with breast cancer awareness, but it doesn’t mean that’s where it stops. The Jacqueline Elizabeth Rodgers Foundation (JERF) is hosting a fashion event this weekend to benefit breast cancer survivors. Kym Clora was on News 13 Now Thursday to give a sneak peek at the fashion show and talk about the event.
The “Destination Cure” fashion show will be Saturday, November 5 at the Clarion Hotel from 6-8 pm. Tickets are $20 in advance on Eventbrite.
The fashion show will help raise awareness and funds for JERF’s mission to help improve breast cancer patient’s quality of life through medical assistance for diagnostic testing, screenings, and lifestyle changes for those who could not otherwise afford them in both Horry and Georgetown Counties.
