FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – A lightning strike caused an explosion at a Florence home.
West Florence Fire Captain Anthony Fox said it happened around 8:30 Thursday night at a home on Texas Drive.
Fox said smoke and fire came from the home’s rear and roof.
He said firefighters were able to control the fire in 30 minutes.
Fox added nobody was injured, but one firefighter was treated for a heat-related issue.
