MURRELLS INLET, SC – Get your red on and plan to attend the National Wear Red Day Ladies Luncheon at noon Feb. 5 at Tidelands Health Conference Center.
Dr. Victor Diaz-Gonzalez, an interventional cardiologist with Inlet Cardiopulmonary and Associates who is on the Tidelands Health medical staff, will be the featured speaker. Dr. Diaz-Gonzalez’s talk is titled “The Heart Truth for Women.”

Sponsored by the American Heart Association, National Wear Red Day is held the first Friday in February to bring attention to the fact that one in three women dies of heart disease and stroke each year and to encourage women to adopt healthier lifestyles.
Since it was established in 2003, nearly 90 percent of women have made at least one healthy behavior change, and nearly 300 fewer women die from heart disease and stroke each day.
