DILLON, SC (WBTW) – The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left a Latta residence pierced with multiple bullet holes.

Captain Cliff Arnette with the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office says the shooting happened in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Arnette says no one at the home was injured during this incident.

News 13 spoke to the 73 year-old woman who lives at the residence on Legare Street.

She showed us the damage on the inside and outside of her home. Though the woman did not want to be identified she says bullet holes went through windows, walls, picture frames and even her bedroom pillow.

“I didn’t know it because I was sleep. I didn’t hear nothing of what was going on and to know that people would come in your neighborhood and do all of this, shoot ya house up. I don’t bother nobody so I don’t see what reason they would have for shooting up my house like they did,” said the 73-year old woman.

Captain Arnette says the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating this incident. He asks if anyone has information about this shooting to contact police.
