MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – There will be a lane closure on US 17 Bypass, from the intersection at Glenns Bay Rd to St. James Rd, in the South Bound Lanes for a paving operation. This lane closure will start in the outside south bound lane but will be switched to the inside lane once paving is complete in the outside lane. This work will take place at night Monday, June 20th through Thursday, June 23rd between the hours of 8 pm – 6 am.
There will be a lane closure on Glenn’s Bay Road, from Evergreen Circle to US 17 Business, in the eastbound lane for storm drain installation. This work will take place at night Sunday, June 19th through Thursday, June 23rd between the hours of 7pm-6am.
There will be a lane closure on Holmestown Road, from US 17 Bypass to Blue Jay Drive, in the outside westbound lane for equipment access. This work will take place Monday, June 20th through Thursday, June 23rd between the hours of 7am-5pm.
There will be a shoulder closure on Glenns Bay Road east and west bound from US 17 Bypass to Ashton Glenn for utility relocation work and storm drain installation. Due to the tight right-of-way and the amount of equipment, this shoulder closure will need to stay in place around the clock, 24 hours a day. This will be in place starting, Friday, June 17th through Friday, June 24th when the next update is sent. The shoulder closure is staying in place around the clock for the safety of the public and no traffic will be inconvenienced, only the shoulder will not be accessible.
