LAKE VIEW – Lake View held on to beat Latta 20-14 in the season opener for both teams Friday night.
The Wild Gators (1-0) led 20-0 at one point. Latta (0-1) pulled within six in the final minute, but couldn’t convert an onside kick attempt. It’s Lake View’s third straight win over the Vikings.
