The Lake City Police Department is investigating a shooting Friday evening on South Church Street, according to Amy Pringle with Lake City police.
In a press release, the Police Department says, officers were called to a shooting at a club called “The Pink House” just before 9 p.m. There they found two victims who were taken to the hospital for gunshot wounds. One of the victims had multiple wounds, the other had a single gunshot wound.
Authorities then began a manhunt for the suspect. 32-year-old Denon Devon Carson was arrested in connection to the shooting, he was located at a home on Smith Street. Carson is currently being held in the Florence County Detention Center on two counts of attempted murder.
The shooting remains under investigation.
