Lake City, S.C. (WBTW)- One person is dead after a shooting that happened overnight at the Carolina Girls Club in Lake City.
Police say it happened around 2:30 Saturday morning. They have not made any arrests yet.
Coroner Keith von Lutcken identifies the victim as Luther (Lulu) Fludd, 20, from Scranton.
According to police the victim was shot in the upper torso of his body.
His body has been sent to MUSC for an autopsy. The incident is under investigation by the Lake City Police Dept. and the Florence County Coroner’s Office.
Lake City Police Chief Joseph Cooper says investigators are in the process of interviewing witnesses and bringing them in one at a time.
