Say ‘ahoy’ to free doughnuts! Krispy Kreme is celebrating “Talk Like a Pirate Day” on Monday, September 19.
Any customer who heads to Krispy Kreme and talks like a pirate will receive one free original glazed doughnut, while mateys who dress like a pirate will receive a dozen original glazed doughnuts for free. You must wear three pirate items — like a patch or bandanna — to qualify.
Also for the first time, customers can use a Krispy Kreme Snapchat pirate filter to digitally “dress” like a pirate. All you have to do is show your Snapchat image at a participating shop for a free dozen glazed doughnuts.
Krispy Kreme says two pirate doughnuts are also available for Talk Like a Pirate Day. The “Pirate Doughnut” is a filled doughnut decorated with a pirate face, and the “Skull and Crossbones Doughnut” is topped with chocolate icing and finished with white icing and a skull candy piece.
