North Carolina-based Krispy Kreme is offering customers everywhere a great deal all day Tuesday.
Tuesday is apparently “National Superhero Day” and the doughnut maker will celebrate by “honoring heroes everywhere” with a free dozen donuts.
Customers who buy a dozen of the Original Glazed donuts at any participating Krispy Kreme on Tuesday will get a second dozen free.
Krispy Kreme announced that there is no limit per customer on the number of purchases and free dozens.
Krispy Kreme, which opened 77 years ago in Winston-Salem, is also offering free donuts for life to one lucky winner.
To enter, take a photo with your hero (a person, figurine, animal — anything goes) and post it to your Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or Vine account with the hashtag #superheroselfie.
The contest will run all day Tuesday. One grand prize winner will receive the lifetime supply of Krispy Kremes, while five first prize winners will get a year’s worth of free donuts.
On February 24, 2015, Krispy Kreme opened its 1,000th store in Kansas City, Kansas.
