MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) – There are plans the spread the fame of the South Carolina Hall of Fame.
The hall, located at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, plans to install kiosks promoting it in museums, convention centers and other locations across South Carolina.
A release from the organization says the $100,000 in state money for the project will help pay for the kiosks that will include information and videos about the 91 members of the hall of fame.
The videos were produced by South Carolina Educational Television.
The South Carolina Hall of Fame, dedicated more than 40 years ago, honors both living and past citizens who have made important contributions to the state.
