DOVESVILLE, SC (WBTW) – The Darlington County Sheriff’s Office responded to an armed robbery call Tuesday at the Dollar General in Dovesville.
A juvenile was arrested and charged through the Department of Juvenile Justice for armed robbery, possession of weapon during commission of a violent crime and petit larceny,

according to Sheriff Wayne Byrd. The armed robber was wearing a red shirt, blue jeans, an orange bandanna around his face, and an ear flap hat at the time of the robbery.
According to Sheriff J. Wayne Byrd, the gunman was last seen running away from the store down Governor Williams Highway toward Dovesville Highway.
Sheriff Byrd did not say where the juvenile was arrested.
