MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW)  – On Tuesday a  judge ordered Horry County to turn over personnel files and records about reported sexual assaults in a lawsuit filed by Jane Doe against Horry County and the Horry County Police Department.

In a hearing Monday, the court heard arguments to release the documents and just a day later, SC Circuit Judge Roger E. Henderson granted the plaintiff’s motion to compel.

The county must release unredacted copies of training files of Christopher Peterson and Todd Cox, all citizen complaints about unwanted sexual advances or assaults by any member of the police force since 2006 and all internal affairs files related to any of those complaints.

In the order, the judge says the documents should be produced within 30 days.
