LORIS, SC (WBTW) – Last Wednesday members of the ATF Violent Crime and Gang Task Force conducted a joint operation in Horry County that resulted in the seizure of narcotics, guns, and over $80,000 cash.

The task force was made up of members from ATF, Horry County police, Horry County Sheriff’s Office and Myrtle Beach police.

According to John Harrelson with Horry County police, they took over a kilogram of cocaine, 70 grams of crack cocaine, a quantity of scheduled pills, three firearms, one of which was stolen, and $80,000.

Emmanuel Bellamy, 27,  was charged with three counts of unlawful possession of handgun, unlawful carrying of handgun, possession of stolen handgun, trafficking cocaine, trafficking crack cocaine, possession of schedule II drug, possession with intent to distribute schedule I – V drug and failure to stop for blue light.

Jamell Bellamy, 26,  was charged with unlawful carrying of a handgun, possession of a stolen handgun, possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession of crack cocaine.

Jamell Bellamy was released on Sept. 9.   Emmanuel Bellamy is still currently being held at J Reuben Long Detention Center with no bail set.
