FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Florence County Sheriff’s Office says they arrested a man Wednesday for using a credit card that belonged to the elderly person he was taking care of.
David Chase Poston,25, from Johnsonville was charged with financial transaction card fraud and willful exploitation of a vulnerable adult.
Investigators say that around June 12, the man who was a caregiver for an elderly person is accused of using the victim’s credit card without consent and allowing another person to use the card as well.
Officials believe that Poston spent over $300.
Poston is currently being held at the Florence County Detention Center on a $5,000 surety bond for the charges.
